What Is Calculon?

Calculon is a free collection of online calculators built for everyday financial and mathematical questions. Whether you're figuring out a monthly mortgage payment, comparing loan options, splitting a tip, or working out a percentage, Calculon gives you a clean interface and an instant answer — no sign-up, no download, no clutter.

We believe useful tools should be simple and accessible to everyone. That means no paywalls, no required accounts, and no unnecessary complexity.

Our Calculators

Calculon currently offers the following tools:

  • Mortgage Calculator — Estimate your monthly mortgage payment based on loan amount, interest rate, and term length.
  • Loan Calculator — Calculate monthly payments and total interest for any personal or auto loan.
  • Auto Loan Calculator — Quickly estimate car loan payments including trade-in value and down payment.
  • Percentage Calculator — Find percentages, percentage change, and what percent one number is of another.
  • Tip Calculator — Calculate tips and split bills among any number of people.

We're continually expanding our library of tools based on what people actually need. If there's a calculator you'd find useful, feel free to reach out and suggest it.

How Our Calculators Work

Every calculator on Calculon runs entirely in your browser using standard mathematical formulas. We don't send your numbers to a server or store any of the values you enter. Calculations happen locally and instantly, which is why results appear as soon as you click Calculate.

Our financial calculators use industry-standard formulas — for example, the mortgage calculator applies the standard amortization formula used by banks and lenders worldwide. This means the estimates you get are accurate and consistent with what you'd see from a financial institution.

A Note on Financial Advice

All calculators on Calculon are provided for informational and educational purposes only. The results are estimates based on the values you provide and should not be taken as financial, legal, or professional advice. Actual loan terms, rates, and payments will vary based on your lender, credit profile, and other factors.

For major financial decisions such as taking out a mortgage or a large loan, we recommend consulting with a qualified financial advisor or licensed lender.
